Raul Castro Meets South African Minister of the Presidency
HAVANA, Cuba, July 10 (acn) Cuban President Raul Castro met on Wednesday afternoon with Esoop Pahad, Minister of the Presidency of South Africa, who is on an official visit to the Caribbean nation.
During their meeting, both leaders analyzed the development of the excellent bilateral relations between Cuba and South Africa and discussed topics of regional and international interest.
According to Granma news daily, Raul also sent a message to South African President Thabo Mbeki.
Also present in the meeting were the South African chargé d'affaires, Thando Nyawose, and Cuban VP Esteban Lazo.
