FOUR Home Affairs officials died after a head-on collision with a truck in Germiston yesterday. 
According to Netcare spokesman Chris Botha, the four occupants were flung from the car and died on the scene.

The collision happened along the Pretoria Road. “It is believed they were trying to overtake the vehicle in front of them when they crashed into (an oncoming) truck,” said Botha, adding that the car was “totally destroyed”.
Nobody in the home affairs vehicle survived, but the truck driver was not injured.
