A man was shot in the chest during a robbery in his home in Lonehill, Johannesburg on Monday night, paramedics said.
Four men allegedly entered the man's home, in a townhouse complex in Concourse Drive, through the balcony and held him and his wife at gunpoint around 10pm, said ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak on Tuesday.
The man, in his 50s, was taken to hospital in a critical condition after the shooting. His wife was unhurt.
A security company arrested one of the suspected robbers in a nearby street.
